About This Event
Led by Dr. Richard Horowitz, a leading clinician and researcher in tick-borne illness, this webinar explores the growing evidence linking Lyme and Alzheimer’s disease. He’ll break down how chronic infection and inflammation may contribute to cognitive decline—and what that could mean for treatment.
Drawing on newly published research, Dr. Horowitz will walk through a clinical case showing measurable improvements in Alzheimer’s-related biomarkers after treating Lyme and associated infections with his double-dose dapsone combination therapy. You’ll also get a clearer picture of how new diagnostic tools and combination therapies are changing the way we understand and approach cognitive impairment.

About the Host
Ali Moresco is the founder of Moresco Public Relations + Communications. Once focusing on entertainment PR and talent relations, Moresco made a pivot to health care PR four years ago when her world was turned upside-down by an undiagnosed illness. It took her two years and eight specialists to find a doctor who would eventually crack the case: multiple complex chronic diseases and tick-borne diseases. Fortunately, Moresco pulls her experience living with chronic disease and “professional patient” skills to provide clients with experience-backed communications strategies in building loyal, long-lasting relationships with both media and patient communities. Ali also serves as Project Lyme’s Board Chair.
