Movements For Lymies

Lyme

About This Event

Movements For Lymies is a recently formed group offering movement tips and other wellness information for those who have Lyme Disease. Daily movement can dramatically improve overall health and wellbeing, but when you have Lyme Disease some days that doesn’t seem possible. This event will show you that there is hope, and help you understand how to leverage the physical, psychological, and emotional benefits of practicing yoga and ayurvedic principles.

Hosted by Holly Robison, a yoga teacher, and ayurvedic wellness coach, this event will teach you gentle stretches to make your body feel better, how to use household items to be more comfortable while moving, as well as ways to modify movements for your body’s needs even on your worst days.

About Our Host

Holly Robison has had chronic Lyme Disease since the early ’90s. After years of suffering, she wanted to find a life filled with holistic remedies and fewer medications. Beginning to practice yoga and 2002, and Ayurveda in 2006, she knew she had found her answer. Now with over 1300 hours of educational training in Yoga and Ayurveda, she can’t imagine her world without these life-changing wellness practices that have been around for over 5,000 years. Recently, Holly launched a virtual Ayurvedic Wellness Coaching program, as well as an online wellness community, Taday Wellness, offering her passion and knowledge of this ancient science to others through individual and group coaching programs.
