Stories That Heal: Project Lyme Author Series

Join us in New York on April 16th! As part of Project Lyme’s 10-year anniversary, we are proud to introduce the inaugural event: Stories That Heal: Project Lyme Author Series, an intimate, in-person evening bringing together the leading voices who have shaped public understanding of Lyme and tick-borne diseases.

Whether you are a longtime supporter, a new advocate, or someone curious to learn more, this event promises to be an inspiring and uplifting night you won’t want to miss!

This special gathering features renowned authors, clinicians, journalists, and advocates whose work explores chronic illness, healing, and lived experience. Guests will have the opportunity to hear directly from:

  • Dr. Richard Horowitz, MD: How Can I Get Better? Why Can’t I Get Better? Ending Chronic Illness (Out Oct 2026)
  • Nicole Bell: What Lurks in the Woods
  • Dr. Bill Rawls, MD: Unlocking Lyme, The Cellular Wellness Solution
  • Amy Kurtz: Kicking Sick, But You Look Fine (June, 2026)

The evening will include a dynamic panel conversation featuring all participating authors, offering firsthand insights into the medical, emotional, and societal realities of Lyme disease. Guests will also enjoy a personal book-signing experience—an opportunity to speak directly with each author and have their books signed. Books will be available for purchase on-site, and guests are welcome to bring their own copies for signing.

Light bites, wine, and nonalcoholic beverages will be served throughout the evening.

Through thoughtful conversation and shared stories, Stories That Heal creates space for connection, clarity, and hope—honoring a decade of advocacy while illuminating the path forward for patients, families, clinicians, and supporters.

Limited VIP tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis—offering exclusive access to a private pre-event reception where you’ll have the opportunity to connect one-on-one with the authors in a thoughtful setting.
