Working to help volunteer-driven organizations achieve their goals for nearly 30 years, Chris is a mission-driven leader and partner with a strong drive for results. Chris began his voluntary health organization work with the American Cancer Society in Fairfield County, Connecticut. He later became Vice President of Development in Massachusetts. He then joined the American Diabetes Association as Executive Director where he was responsible for field development and program activities in New England. Most recently, as Territory Vice President, he led all field operations for the east coast.
He directed the development and implementation of local strategic plans that drew on the unique strengths of the organizations and their people. Growing existing sources of revenue and diversifying into areas of emerging potential, Chris and his staff and volunteer teams have raised over $200 million through major gifts, corporate sponsorship, foundations, special events and peer-to-peer fundraising.
His work at Project Lyme focuses on the planning and development efforts required to further grow the organization’s impact on the quality of life of those living with Lyme and other tick-borne illnesses and to dramatically reduce the incidence of new cases.
Chris graduated from the University of Connecticut with a B.S. in Finance.
